Kids Love Murals!
When I was painting the
ocean mural the little boy got home from school,
took one look at the half-finished wall and
exclaimed, "I feel like I'm really at the ocean!"
He then promptly popped in a CD with crashing waves
and seagull sounds to complete the experience.
It is for this kind of joy that I love painting
murals for kids. Seeing their eyes light up
when they walk into their transformed rooms is a
wonderful thing.
